DUI arrests
■ Peter N. Wessel, 52, of Derhenson, East Naples, was charged with DUI-alcohol or drugs, first offense, Friday at U.S. 41 and Lely Resort Drive.
■ James M. Pinedo, 25, of the 4400 block of 23rd Avenue Southwest, Golden Gate, was charged with DUI-having a blood-alcohol level of 0.15 or higher or with a person younger than 18, first offense, Friday at Orange Blossom Drive and Timberline Drive.
■ Ai Hua Chen, 49, of the 4600 block of U.S. 41 N., Naples, was charged with DUI damage to property Friday at the intersection of Immokalee Road and Rabbit Run.
Drug arrests
■ Denis Alfredo Gomez, 19, of the 5300 block of 16th Place Southwest, was arrested Saturday by Collier sheriff’s deputies at 5284 Hemingway Lane. He was charged with two counts sale of marijuana, two counts possession of marijuana with intent to sell, sale of cocaine, possession of cocaine and two counts of trafficking more than 4 grams of oxycodone powder.
Domestic assaults
■ Albert Franqui, 26, of the 4300 block of Coral Palms, Golden Gate, was charged with battery-touching or striking another against their will Friday. He’s accused of assaulting his girlfriend at their apartment.
■ Mark R. Morgan, 38, of the 3500 block of Guilford Road, East Naples, was charged with battery-touching or striking another against their will Friday. He’s accused of hitting his wife on the head, ripping off her shirt, pushing her out of the house and spitting on her face.
