7 p.m. Thursday Dr. R. Rick Bhasin, a neurosurgeon, will talk about living with back pain.
5:30 p.m. Aug. 16 Dr. Thomas Bass will discuss incisionless surgery for severe heartburn.
6:30 p.m. Aug. 16 Dr. Thomas Bass will discuss weight loss surgery options.
6 p.m. Aug. 18 Dr. Robert Zehr will discuss what’s new and what works for painful knees and hips.

CHS Healthcare will celebrate National Health Center Week with the following open houses:
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, the Marion E. Fether Medical Center, 1454 Madison Ave., Immokalee
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, CHS/FSU Primary Care, 1441 Heritage Blvd., Immokalee.
10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Creekside Pediatrics, Polaris Building, 1265 Creekside Parkway, Naples.

Wish list
The Mental Health Association of SW Florida sent out a wish list for its office and received the following: Carpet for the back offices from John Taylor of Carpet One; mirror for the powder room and area rug for the multi-purpose room from Dr. Cheryl Kasprzak; prints and posters for the entire office from Mr. and Mrs. Peter Bos; and 20 chairs for the group room from Trinity-by-the-Cove Episcopal Church.
