The Sons and Daughters of Erin Second Annual Celtic Fest and Parade was surely blessed with great weather for which we were all extremely grateful.

We’re also indebted to the people whose hard work made the weekend happen. The help and cooperation of the Marco Island Police and Fire Departments were essential in insuring the safety of all participants.

Thanks also to the parade committee and all of our volunteers, without you the festivities would not have been possible.

We owe a special thank you to the parade participants who made the day memorable. The entertainers were fantastic. For everyone who worked so hard decorating their entries, and putting on a great show, you did a wonderful job.

May the luck of the Irish follow you always!
