Sister Teresa Benedicta, a high school teacher at Ave Maria’s Donahue Academy, will speak about her faith at the Ave Maria University’s Founders Club lunch on Marco Island.

The lunch is at 11:30 a.m. on March 19 at the Marco Island Yacht Club at 1400 North Collier Blvd. and it costs $25. The Dominican Sisters of Mary Mother of the Eucharist, Benedicta’s order, was recently featured on the Oprah show. Her talk, titled “Daughter of Conversion,” will touch on her parents’ conversion story and her own faith journey.

Benedicta has a bachelors in science from Eastern Michigan University, a masters in philosophy from Catholic University of America and is the host of a weekly TV series, :Truth in the Heart,” on Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN).
