Police Beat: Feb. 8, 2010

Domestic assault arrests

■ Philip T. Devine, 70, of the 27000 block of Driftwood Drive, Bonita Springs, was arrested Saturday by Lee deputies at home. Devine was charged with battery/domestic violence after reports say he hit his 64-year-old girlfriend, causing her nose to bleed and trying to choke her.

■ Thomas Franklin Lucas Jr., 33, of the 4300 block of Little Hickory Road, Bonita Springs, was arrested Sunday by Lee deputies at home. He was charged with battery/domestic violence after reports say he hit a woman three times.

■ William Teddy Shoellhorn, 22, of the 900 block of Marblehead Drive, East Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies Sunday at home. Shoellhorn was charged with assault and obstruction of justice after reports say he threatened his aunt, and threw stuff at her.

Assault arrests

■ Billy Joe Martinez, 23, of the 7400 block of Albany Road, Fort Myers, was arrested Saturday by Lee deputies in Lee County. He was charged with assault with the intent to do violence and resisting arrest without violence.

DUI arrests

■ Jose Cisneros, 21, of the 27000 block of Shriver Avenue, Bonita Springs, was arrested Sunday by Lee deputies in the 4000 block of Bonita Beach Road in Bonita Springs. He was also charged with DUI property damage.

■ Jose Santiago Faustino, 33, of the 500 block of Eisenhower Boulevard, Lehigh Acres, was arrested by FHP troopers Sunday near mile marker 62 on Interstate 75. Faustino was also charged with driving without a valid license.

■ Donald Edward Keller, 22, of the 17000 block of Modina Road, Fort Myers, was arrested Saturday by Lee deputies at Ben Hill Griffin and Estero parkways in Estero.

■ Joseph James Lacombe Jr., 54, of the 7500 block of Carrier Road, Fort Myers, was arrested Saturday by Lee deputies at Constitution Avenue and U.S. 41 South in Fort Myers. Lacombe was also charged with refusal to submit to a DUI test.

■ Michael Sweny Mandic, 18, of an unknown address at Florida Gulf Coast University, was arrested Saturday by Lee deputies at Ben Hill Griffin and Estero parkways in Estero.

■ Robert Pappas, 62, of Dartmouth, Mass., was arrested by Marco Island police Saturday near the 400 block of South Collier Boulevard.

■ Herman Pardo, 23, of the 3000 block of 58th Terrace S.W., Hollywood, Fla., was arrested by Collier deputies Sunday near mile marker 98 on Interstate 75. He was also charged with refusing to take a DUI test.

■ Michael Garland Rorie, 50, of the 22000 block of Reserve Estates Drive, Bonita Springs, was arrested by Collier deputies Sunday near the intersection of U.S. 41 and Bonita Beach Road.

■ Holly Corrine Schulz, 24, of the 15000 block of Marcello Circle, North Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies near the 3000 block of Pine Ridge Road. She was also charged with refusing to submit to a DUI test and driving while license suspended.

Other arrests

■ Seth E. Fitzgerald, 22, and Daryl Eugene “Moby” Fischer, 35, both of the 7300 block of Albany Road, Fort Myers, were conjointly charged in connection with a Friday incident at the now-closed Hess station, 17081 U.S. 41 South in Fort Myers. Fischer was charged with burglary, possession of burglary tools with the intent to use them and resisting a law enforcement officer without violence. Fitzgerald was charged with loitering or prowling. Reports say a truck driver parked in the parking lot sleeping heard some noises and saw two men trying to start a John Deere front loader. They fled and were arrested a short time later by Lee deputies.

Grand theft

■ Ammunition, cash and jewelry valued at $10,000 was reported stolen Friday from a house in the 21000 block of Sungate Court in Estero.

■ A generator valued at $800 was reported stolen Friday from the 8100 block of Winged Foot Road in Fort Myers.

■ Copper wire valued at $3,000 was reported stolen Sunday from the 17000 block of Wobegon Drive in Fort Myers.
